Refund Policy

Last updated: 14 July 2026

This Refund Policy explains when and how Put.mk - КСЕНИЈА 2024 ДООЕЛ Скопје (“Put.mk”), as the owner and provider of the website, issues refunds or credit for orders placed on put.mk for domains, SSL certificates, and shared hosting.

Payments are typically collected through our e-commerce virtual POS terminal, which accepts Visa and Mastercard cards. Refunds of card payments are returned to the same card when possible, via the payment provider. Handling of personal and payment data related to refunds follows our Privacy Policy and GDPR principles (lawfulness, purpose limitation, and data minimisation).

1. General principles

  • Refund requests must be submitted in writing to domains@put.mk with the order number, invoice number (if any), service name, and reason.
  • Approved refunds are processed within 5–14 business days after approval; the time for funds to appear on your card or bank account depends on your bank / card issuer.
  • Amounts and currency are as on the original invoice. Prices are final (Put.mk - КСЕНИЈА 2024 ДООЕЛ Скопје is not a VAT taxpayer). Partial refunds may apply when only part of an order is cancelled.

2. Hosting packages — 30-day money-back

For new shared Linux or Windows hosting packages, you may request a full refund within 30 days of first activation if you are not satisfied with the hosting service, provided that:

  • the account was not used in a way that violates our acceptable use or fair-use rules (spam, abuse, illegal content); and
  • you cancel the hosting service as part of the refund request.

This money-back guarantee applies to hosting fees only. Domains and SSL certificates purchased in the same order are subject to the rules in sections 3 and 4.

3. Domain names

Domain registrations and renewals are services provided in coordination with the national .mk registry. Once a domain is successfully registered or renewed in the registry:

  • fees are generally non-refundable, because registry costs have been incurred and the name is reserved in your favour;
  • if Put.mk fails to complete registration for reasons attributable solely to us, or the registry permanently rejects the name after payment without fault on your part, we will refund the domain fee or offer an equivalent alternative;
  • transfers that include a renewal year follow the same non-refundable rule once the transfer/renewal completes at the registry.

If you provided incorrect registrant data and the order cannot be completed after reasonable attempts to contact you, we may cancel the order and refund minus non-recoverable third-party costs, if any.

4. SSL certificates

  • Before certificate issuance / validation completes, you may cancel and request a refund of unused SSL fees.
  • After a certificate has been issued by the certificate authority, SSL fees are generally non-refundable, except where issuance failed due to an error attributable to Put.mk, or the CA rejects the request through no fault of yours.
  • Free installation on Put.mk hosting has no separate charge; there is nothing to refund for that step alone.

5. Duplicate charges and payment errors

If the virtual POS or your bank creates a proven duplicate charge for the same order, or you were charged but the order was not created, contact us immediately. After verification with the payment provider, we will refund the duplicate or erroneous amount to the original Visa/Mastercard (or original payment method).

6. Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact us before initiating a card chargeback. Unjustified chargebacks may lead to suspension of services associated with the disputed payment while the case is investigated with the acquiring bank and card scheme (Visa / Mastercard).

7. Withdrawal from digital services (consumer information)

Where consumer withdrawal rights apply under applicable North Macedonian / EU consumer rules for distance contracts, note that digital services may begin immediately after payment. By purchasing and requesting immediate activation of domains, SSL, or hosting, you may acknowledge that once performance has begun (or the domain/certificate is registered/issued), the right of withdrawal may be limited or lost for that digital service, to the extent permitted by law. Hosting remains covered by our voluntary 30-day money-back guarantee in section 2.

8. How refunds are paid

  • Card payments (Visa / Mastercard via virtual POS): refund to the same card through the payment gateway.
  • Bank transfer: refund to the originating bank account; we may request IBAN confirmation for AML / accuracy purposes.

We do not store full card numbers; refund routing uses the original transaction reference held by the payment provider (see Privacy Policy / GDPR).

9. Non-refundable situations

Unless required by mandatory law, refunds are not available for:

  • services suspended or terminated for abuse, fraud, or legal violations;
  • downtime caused by third parties (registry, CA, upstream network) outside Put.mk’s reasonable control, without prejudice to separate SLA remedies if expressly contracted;
  • change of mind after domain registration or SSL issuance has completed (see sections 3–4);
  • renewals already submitted to the registry or CA.
